For god's (and health's!) sake, eat, girl, eat.
hahahaha!! Someone hand the woman a sandwich!!! Pretty soon she'll start looking like Karen Carpenter. Oh, that wasn't nice.
No, both of you are not being nice and you're nice women. Why are you picking on this woman? You think her kids don't read? Mo in a chastising mood
Mo: Yes we suspect her children DO read, but maybe if they get the clue that their mother is killing herself via food deprivation, they might say something she hears. She certainly doesn't seem to hear anyone else. (Not that I know who all is talking to her.)It was the bleach stick commercial I saw that made me say something. She looks like a skeleton in that ad! Her back bones stick out by inches. It's just gross.I'm not picking on her. I'm pointing out that a celebrity is starving herself to death and everyone is standing by watching. Girls and women worship stick women like this - someone needs to say something!
I'm thinking of offering her some of my tonnage...Hh
i dont think anyone is picking on her. to me, she doesnt look thin, she looks starved. you can be thin and still healthy looking but she doesnt look healthy by any stretch.
Barb: I tried to look at pictures of her. I found one of her in a bikini -- her chest looks like my chest in between my breasts (bony, I don't put on fat there). And I am absolutely cut on my arms and upper back (and pretty decent legs too except for the varicose veins and sagging) and I refuse to even take fitness walks. So I'm just not seeing what you're seeing, and when people say on the internet she must be lying about not working out -- my kids keep me very muscular too. BTW I am holding at 145 pounds ... hardly anorexic.Maybe I just can't find the right picture.Mo
Searches on Ms. Ripa turns up a slew of She-s-Too-Damn-Skinny comments, so it isn't in my head. She's been featured in magazines that speak about paper-thin actors. Here is the commercial I was speaking about. This is way beyond fit, this is starving.http://www.kellyripa.com/(scroll down to the Tide commercial under the WHAT'S NEW section)You might also tune in to Regis and Kelly and take a gander there. Each of us has different views on what is fit and what is too skinny. You speak from a place of thinness. I speak from a place of fatness. But when other actors and magazines and blogs speak about her being too skinny, then I suspect my viewpoint isn't so far off.(Is this really worth arguing about?)
