Let's Look at Those Search Terms

Shaking my head in wonder at some of the ways people find themselves to my blog, I thought I'd share some of the most interesting search terms in Google. These are written exactly as they were presented in the search engine and are all from the last couple of days.

gwyneth paltrow std (huh?!?!)

sorbitol dehydrogenase test nz (eek!)

dilating cervix by sex (you can soften the cervix with sex, but I don't know about dilating it.)

i'm feeding formula and i won't feel guilty (good for you!)

ua birthing (what is this? unassisted, maybe?)

is it safe to swim in the ocean during your period with a tampon (yes!)

introitus photo (?!)

drinking orange soda for the ultrasound (um... if you are looking for fetal movements... otherwise, just water to fill the bladder)

can't wear a tampon

epidurals hurt the baby (depends on who you ask)

amniohook damage the cervix (I don't know of it happening, but hypothetically, it surely could.)

panorama babies misogynistic (??)

view from the gyn stirrups (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

can your water break without being dilated (yes)

27 weeks pregnant with velamentous cord insertion (she must be scared - let's send her good thoughts)

twin one placenta two cords (ayup... need to know what the amniotic sac/s are doing, though)

homebirth herpes (yes, possible, depending on where the lesions are)

kelly ripa tide commercial (ha!)

eye ointment for gbs (nope... there isn't such a thing - the eye ointment is for gonorrhea only)

Okay, time to swim. Enjoy the day!

How interesting to see what people are looking for. Sending tons of positive thoughts for the mom with the velamentous insertion.

Gee, I need to start writing something about these. My website is very focussed so I don't get the entertaining array of search terms you do, but I recently got "Canadian birthing ceremonies" and I really, really want to talk about that. Just not sure what I want to say.
