Pediatric Grand Rounds - July 15, 2006

Many are already familiar with my submissions being accepted in Grand Rounds (a grouping of medical blogs from around the blogosphere), but I was encouraged to submit to Pediatric Grand Rounds. I don't often write about babies or kids, per se, but thought I'd just written a piece worthy of submitting - my How to Wean article.

The editor of the Pediatric Grand Rounds did make a not-mortal mistake by calling me "observantmidwife" instead of Navelgazing Midwife, but we all know who I am, right?

So, to read the inner workings of pediatrics from a medical perspective, head on over to PediatricsInfo.Com/ and read all day!

Thanks for your comment. I probably didn't need to, but felt a little obliged to give that disclaimer w/ the link to your blog just because I *know* that some of the readers of my blog are the easily offended-type. I, on the other hand, could read curse-words and ideas that may conflict w/ my own until the cows come home and it would not bother me a bit. I read your article on weaning to a bottle and thought it was really informative. I have so much to learn about nursing (and more generally, child-rearing, for that matter). I know that these little gems of wisdom will pop into my head when I need them and I'm very thankful for that. I've read a lot of very enlightening things here on Navelgazing Midwife and will continue to gratefully draw off of your ideas and experience. Many thanks!
