Cesarean

My niece being born via cesarean. A phenomenal picture/viewpoint not seen very often anymore. She is 18 years old now.
The doctor on the right is doing fundal pressure. You can see his left shoulder lifted towards his ear, a hallmark of lifting the arm to exert pressure downward to press the baby out of the uterus.
The baby was 9 pounds 5 ounces.

Actually, my dh just took a similar picture during my c/s last week. I love that view in any birth, the baby just coming out for the first time.
