A 'midwife' with 40 years experience blasts a mama who just lost her stillborn baby for being irresponsible and accuses her of basically causing her child's death by wanting to birth out of hte hospital. This mama is fierce and beautiful and passionate and could probably use anything you could find the time to say to her. She's not taking it lying down, that's for sure, but this 'midwife' isn't giving up, either. It's craziness. :(

Yes, in another place that "midwife" commented in my blog and someone pointed her out to me yesterday.

*sigh*

Everyone does have a right to their opinion, but she shouldn't mash the poor woman's face in her grief. But it is the Internet and people are merciless in their tirades. Egos are humongous here, as we know (witness Dr. Amy and others), so why this surprises anyone actually surprises me.

I'm very sad for the woman, but the only thing I could say to her is read the Four Agreements TODAY.

Don't take it personally. This is totally this woman's crazed issue. Not hers. She knows her Truth. BE in her Truth and leave it alone. Don't try to defend it.
