Me

Thought it might be good to toss up a picture of me for all to see. This is from last summer, but I look exactly the same, only more hair. I will have another photo done in the next day or so and put that up. Just thought in light of all the fat talk, folks should see who they are talking to.

I love how happy you look!

BTW - I read your blog starting from the fat vagina post - it was posted in one of the lj comms - and then started to read from there. I really enjoy your writing and like to read about your midwife work.

You look beautiful! I like this picture so much better than your self-portrait, because you look happy - it is infectious!

*laughs* I LOVE how happy you look, and how you don't fear the camera at all. I wish I was that uninhibited around the camera. :) You look lovely!

You are BEAUTIFUL! I just had to tell you. I read your blog often, never comment, and now that I have the chance - I wanted to let you know! You shine with self-assurance, and an inner (and outer) beauty that can only be found when a person is completely at ease and in love with the skin they are in.

That glowing smile!! It leaps from the picture! As always, I enjoy your posts and musings, but it is nice to have a picture to go with the readings.

Beautiful as you were when I first met you!

Oh, Aimee!!! Thank you! I love you so much!

Thank you to everyone! I had to show this picture because of my cellulite arms and my curvy legs... it was important to give an accurate demonstration of who I am.

You regular readers know I put this up for the fat critics who thought I was a skinny minnie. Since putting this up - and writing my Fat Angry Woman piece - there hasn't been a peep written or said about me again. I suppose I was able to explain myself sufficiently? *shrug* I'll certainly be more careful from now on.

It's kind of sad that I had to be fat to be heard, don't you think?

Just wanted to say how beautiful you are!

You gorgeous, goddess midwife! You don't "look" stunningly happy and radiant...you ARE. Perhaps it is all that light waiting to burst forth from your body that makes you "fat". :) Whatever the case, you are lovely and perfect.

You are one hot Midwife Mama :)

I am so drawn in by your words and passion for women and babies. I'm so glad I found this blog!

My son (5) was born at home, one of the best days of my life :)

I'm a fat mama, and I wasn't offended at all by your posts. Made sense to me (even if not everything applied to me, that doesn't take away from your truths!)
