How's this for birth in 2007? Newborn in mom's lap (you can see the baby hat peeking out on the left side of her knee) and mom and dad texting everyone in their lives about the baby's birth. Isn't this the greatest picture?! I love it!

I don't like it! I think text messaging has really impacted how we share information.

I mean, I know it's brilliant & all... but I can't help but feel sad about a text announcing a baby's birth... it seems so unimportant somehow.
