Gorgeous Women of Hawai'i

Our Luau was filled with REAL women! In talking to others at the hotel, their Luaus had skinny chicks. Our Luau had women of substance. While I wasn't terribly thrilled with our Luau, I was overjoyed with these amazingly beautiful women.

I think that the picture is gorgeous as is the woman. However I have a problem with your dichotomy of "real women" and "skinny chicks". While I agree that the mainstream media focuses way too much attention on unnaturally thin women I caution people and especially women against viewing all thin women in this light. As a midwife I'm sure you've encountered women of all shapes and sizes some of whom are thin. Thin comes in big boobs and little boobs, big hips and little, defined waist and straight up and down just as average and zaftig do. Don't do us "skinny chicks" a disservice by erasing our realness and womaness as the media does to ALL of us women.
