"Been looking forward to this day..."

Hi Barb,

Had to tell ya... I bumped into the doctor that delivered E. and reminded her of our c-section experience. I said to her, "Remember, you told me the shape of my pelvis would never tolerate a vaginal birth? Well, I'd like to introduce my little VBAC V.!!!!"

Ahhhhh, it felt so good. I'm honestly still smiling because I didn't know if I'd ever have a chance to see her again. And there we were, standing shoulder to shoulder at the train museum in Balboa Park. I couldn't resist the opportunity to tell my story. She was actually really, really nice and seemed genuinely excited that I got the experience I wanted.

I love how things come full circle in life... I love the law of attraction... and I still, LOVE my VBAC experience! Thanks again for believing in me.

Happy (rainy) Sunday.

(my VBAC client you've all seen birth her baby with Dr. Wonderful)

That's really an awesome experience! I would feel great closure an satisfaction if that were me.

Was this the mama who birthed squatting on the hospital bed with Dr. Wonderful behind her? Those photos still bring me to tears. Happy tears.

I would love to run into my old OB who "delivered" my first child. The one who laughed when I said I'd like to try to birth without any drugs. He robbed me of my confidence on that day and at the birth. I'd like to introduce my three boys all born since then without drugs or intervention. : )
