"Calling All Angels"
Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 08:00PM This song plays as the "Business of Being Born" winds down.
It needs to be heard.
(It is attached to a religious video; I couldn't find it without buying it anywhere else.)
"Calling All Angels," by Jane Siberry (with k.d. lang):
"...but if you could...
do you think you would trade in all the pain and suffering?
ah, but then you'd miss
the beauty of the light upon this earth
and the sweetness of the leaving
calling all angels
calling all angels
walk me through this one
don't leave me alone
callin' all angels
callin' all angels
we're tryin'
we're hopin'
we're hurtin'
we're lovin'
we're cryin'
we're callin'
'cause we're not sure how this goes...."

Thank you for posting this beautiful song. It has been a favorite of mine since the movie Until the End of the World. So beautiful and so appropriate for the BOBB.
I'm an occasional reader of your blog and just discovered this blog entry. I emailed you around the time of this post in desperation, looking to identify this song from BOBB, and you did! Maybe I inspired this post, or maybe the timing is coincidence. There are some nice youtube videos of the song.
