Mexican Riviera

Sarah and I have been in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a few days now. A fantastic place if you avoid downtown.

Here, you are able to see our view from the room. We were here with a group of business folks from Sarah's work and you can see them at their last night's function at the bottom right. Sarah won a contest of bringing in the most business (or something like that... she uses a different term, but I can't think of it) and here we are! This is the second year in a row she has been a top performer.

This hotel is an all-inclusive hotel. Everything from room, room service, mini-bar, and food is included, as are all drinks, alcohol, tax and tips! The ONLY thing we've had to pay for is Internet service! $20 a day for Wi-Fi. Not bad!

We fly home today and I am editing a couple hundred pictures, along with dozens of other subjects I am so behind on. It's why I haven't written so much! Working hard at editing.

I hope to write more this coming week.

I get to see my doggies tonight! Yay!

You bothered to answer an email from me while you had all that beauty and fun around you? I'm humbled and honored; thank you again! Enjoy the rest of your trip and safe travel home!

Do you mind telling us what the name of the hotel is? My husband is dying to know (maybe that means that he'll take me???)... ;)

We were at the all-inclusive 5-star resort Grand Velas in Nuevo Vallarta. Phenomenal service and amenities. We never had to carry money or cards around. They put a bracelet on you and everything is taken care of... liquor, food, taxes, gratuities, a delicious spa treatment, room service, the mini-bar... it's all included in the price.

And we HAD no price since Sarah won the trip! That's the BEST way to go, eh?

Last year when we went, I got so sick I had to see the doctor for meds. This year, I was careful with the water, wasn't just coming off my cocci meds and went with antibiotics and 2 Costco sized Immodium AD bottles. I wasn't going to get sick this time! And I didn't!

Nuevo Vallarta looks MUCH different when not in a bed. ;)
