Gay Marriage Ban Lifted in California!!

This morning, the California Supreme Court overturned the ban on same-sex marriage!

It is a HUGE step forward for those of us who deserve the same civil rights as other, heterosexual, folks.

Sarah and I were on the news last night before they overturned it. You can see the interview here:

This *is* huge.
I live in CT so we've had the 'civil union' version for a few years now here. It's all good and well--as long as we don't call it Marriage ??!! everyone's been happy.

Alas, I'm not very good at recognizing split second long footage of you but I'm very happy for ya anyway! :)
